bpi solutions integrates iCustomizer into its own standard software
 
The bpi solutions gmbh & co. kg. a Software and Consulting company in Bielefeld, has successfully supported its customers for over 20 years with an enterprise solution of simple to use standard software and industry orientated solutions in Furniture, Logistic and other branches. The range of services covers consulting, over conception and the development to the integration of new applications. The main focus is the optimization and automation of business processes in marketing, sales, and service. Their own CRM-Standard software bpi Sales Performer is installed at over 120 customer sites which each have 5 to 40 users.

Today we are in the position that our consultants can carry out ad hoc modifications for presentations or customer requirements, earlier it was necessary that our developers were active. We can realize individual modifications externally to our standard software and the standard customer version is kept free of customer modifications which increases the clarity and maintainability. Furthermore we can realize contradictory requirements from different customers which were otherwise only possible to realize with a great effort.
 
Our customers are also more willing to pay for individual modifications because they benefit much sooner, the work effort is easier to calculate and they become from us an individual tailored solution.
 
Apart from the customer specific configuration of Windows forms, we also can alter complex customer processes. With the iCustomizer we generate individual reports pages, group data, create statistical reports und create our own queries in our data base and bind the results into the user interface. Originally we only thought to use the iCustomizer for Windows Forms alterations but through the various possibilities it offers we use it much more intensively and extensively.
 
„The great thing about the iCustomizer is that the customers cannot destroy anything. Everybody can carry out his modifications and test them. If they do not function then the XML file can be deleted so that everything functions as before.”
